I had a wonderful weekend !!!!
I have just had the most wonderful weekend.
My 2 daughters arranged a surprise 60th birthday party. I was totally oblivious of the arrangements being made. Lots of old friend & relatives came. My Mum & 2 sisters were there which was great, Mum has the Aneurism & Dementia so I am guessing we'll not have many more of them so it was extra special. Apparently my unplanned visits to eldest daughter's house had them "putting tables up then pulling them down"
I am now chuckling at how many times they had to do that
My 3 grandaughters were wonderful keeping the secret I speak to them almost every day & they didn't make a slip up once.
My birthday cake was made with Nanny sitting on her lounge chair with overlocker set up on ironing board all the magazines & fabric scattered all around.Even had the vacuum cleaner lying nearby -- don't know what it's for though LOL
Nanny & the lounge chair are chocolate mud cake the rest are all made from icing, it was a beautiful cake.
Children can be delightful
