Well i was actually able to get my Mom's quilt and pillow shams finished - and mailed - to arrive only 3 days late for her 82 birthday...She loves purple. This was a test / challenge for myself - as i did my own method of "quilt as you go" for all 9 different segments of the queen size....and it worked.
