This evening I put the boarders on this quilt. I have had the fabric to make this for :blushing: 4-5 years! So I thought I would surprise my DH with it for Christmas. The backing is in the washer right now. It's a soft Dale Earnhardt Sr black #3 flannel. He was a huge Sr fan until he passed away from the track accident. This quilt is "eh" for me to work on as it is not my favorite fabric...lol!! Also, the checker blocks isn't printed fabric but pieced squares. Which took a little time cause when I nest my seams I pin to get the best accuracy possible
Will be quilting it this week!
