Rulers, tape measures, and almost everything Jan said...but I do only have one pin cushion. It is a magnetic one and I take it with me wherever I need pins. The nice thing about it, I can kind of toss the pins towards it and they go in.
I tried having two chairs in my sewing room but there wasn't enough room--so I took one out. But then, I don't really need two since I only have one reg. sewing machine and one embroidery machine.
