I'm currently working on the mirror borders and then I will get the other borders that frame the quilt. Also, I'm doing trapunto and it will be a challenge to complete this as it is getting very heavy to feed through the machine; my arms are getting a work out.
Are you going to give this to your LAer? If so, don't do trapunto. Have them use a double bat. Cotton on the backing side, wool on top, then stitch it. It gives you trapunto without all the headache. Can't wait to see this one finished!
