I bought the Featherlight Side Clamps from
www.quiltshop.us a few years ago and they are wonderful if you only clamp the backing as I do. They are light weight and about 9 inches long with elastic and velcro that attaches them to the frame. They do a great job. I think now they come in a 14 inch size also.
