Default A pair of very "sunny" wallhangings

I came across some really gorgeous sun fabric by chance over a year ago. I bought a box of fabric from a quilter who was downsizing. There wasn't very much of the fabric and no selvedge information. I also put a query out here but still was not able to find more of the focus fabric. There was not enough to make a quilt out of it, even though I had plenty of the blue-background sun fabric and the turquoise blender fabric.

With all that said, I decided to make a pair of 21" wall-hangings that also can be used as table-toppers for a pair of beautiful sisters with very "sunny" dispositions. The girls have birthdays this month, and sometimes, their birthdays do get overlooked or blended together with all the holiday gatherings.

This pattern was inspired by one in the Quilter magazine July 2004 called Starry Skies, but it has been modified.
