I finished the monkey quilt last night. This is for our 3 year old granddaughter who loves monkeys. I put pink fleece on the back so it is very snuggly. Monkeys are appliqued. I combined 2 patterns. Used 1 pattern minus the sashings as the quilt top; monkey appliques were from another pattern. I wanted to do the monkeys out of fleece too but didn't have any. Fabric store is too far away for a quick trip there so I used cotton fabric but I think it is still cute. I have some fabrics left so think I'll make a pillowcase to go with it. Also got her some pj's with monkeys on them and a little stuffed monkey. It will be a monkey filled Christmas!
