My Clover mini-iron is about 9 years old, so it is one of the original ones. I think the new ones look great, with the different sizes and shapes of ironing tips you can put on them, but I am not going to spend the money to buy a new one when the one I have works just fine. Besides, I don't use it very often.

Decide what you are going to use your mini iron for---then decide if you need all the extra tips. If not, then save yourself the money (and spend it on fabric!!)
