Yes, I just put about 4 tea bags in a big bowl of hot water, let it steep until it was dark, then put the quilt in it for about 30 minutes. I did put it in the dryer for a while (I wanted to set the tea dye and let it get crinkly to show off the quilting), then I took it out and kind of blocked it and let it finish drying on its own. I love the way the tea dye makes stuff look!
