Default Need help deciding on quilting motif

I am quilting this small lap quilt of 54-40 or Fight blocks. The quilt measures 51 x 65 and the star blocks are 12" with 2" sashing between. I quilted a sunflower motif in the sashing areas and I am doing a swirl motif in the 3 1/2" borders in a redwood brown thread. Some of the stars were a little on the full side so leaving them unquilted is not an option. I will need some sort of quilting in them. I am torn between a sunburst with swirl center and curly tendril looking rays or a curved cross hatch diamond in the center. I chalked in the design on two of the stars so hopefully you can see and offer input based on that. Which motif should I go with. Should I stick with the fluid curves and circles already quilted or do I need to compliment the straight lines of the stars with that curved cross hatch? What all do you think? My intent is to use the redwood brown color thread in the stars as well. Definitely not the white/cream colored thread I used in the sash and SID
