I have taken to giving my quilts song names. The first quilt I named was "The Flowers that Bloom in the Spring, Tra-La (from the Mikado) because the fabrics were loaded with spring flowers. The quilt I'm working on right now is "The Gambler" (Kenny Rogers) because of the "winning-hand" pattern I'm adapting. Does anyone know if there is any infringement on copyright laws by doing this?
Copyright does not protect song titles...only the lyrics and music. That's why there are so many songs with the same title. You're safe.
