I am like your husband when I read too. I get irritated if someone interrupts me when I am reading. I tune Joe out (poor guy) don't even hear him when I am "into" a good book. When my kids were young, I could not read at all! I would tune them out, it really scared me, so I stopped reading until they were much older!
