For yrs. I was very intimidated at the idea of doing a Bargello. Then I saw a big double heart one from somebody on the QB (I think) & fell in love. Had to have the pattern. Took awhile to find fabrics I liked but then I just jumped in & started it. I became so obsessed with working on it, I'd work well past bedtime.
Then it was time to go home to Wash. state for Christmas (I'm a snowbird in Ariz.) & I actually hated leaving it for awhile. My first full day back, I worked on my Bargello ALL day long.
This was last yr. now & I'm so protective of it I still haven't handed it over to a longarmer to finish it. Plus, I'm not happy with the backing I have for it so it sits unfinished. Sad!!!
