Love your quilt! More quilting needed. Maybe more echo quilting around the mugs........and a spiral, inspired by the steam, could work...have the spiral begin at the intersection of four block corners and enclose part of each block. IMHO, curves would be the way to go....SID makes me nervous. LOL
