Christmas will be quiet for us this year...I really can't think of anything I want or need.....our daughter was married in September, so we enjoyed our gift early this year....a son in law!!!! Other than that....just want to spend Christmas quietly with family....sad my dauther and son in law can't be with us this Christmas.....she is a nurse and will be working (not to mention they live 6 hours from us!!!) This is me too. DD #1 was married in August and we flew her and new SIL home for an early Christmas last week. They are 30+ hours drive away (and that's just driving, no time for sleeping or eating!) I will miss her on Christmas Day, but it was SO nice to have them here for just a little while. We will be celebrating Christmas here with the rest of the family on Christmas Eve, so I am looking forward to a nice quiet Christmas with DH and DD #2 who's still at home. I may even have time to sew, just for the fun of it. That would be a lovely Christmas gift.
