Great Canvas....I had a 201 that I refurbed in same condition.
First:
Sand to smoothness
Then spray primer: Auto: grey
Let dry a few days
Then spray with engine enamel black
Then sand
Then spray again till nice and smooth
Multiple coats, don't overspray!!
Then gently sand to flat surface
Then apply lacquer or shellac
Then sand
Then add final coat of shellac, and French Polish.
It comes out like new!!! If you want to add water decals adhere before lacquer or shellac.
