Default Wildlife Quilt FINISHED--Bear Paw Blocks Framed

Here is the finished project. This pattern was inspired by a posting this spring. When I inquired about the pattern, I learned it was from a defunct shop and the name was unknown so I set off to make my own interpretation of it. It is not an exact recreation of the pattern because I think the center panel of mine was much larger and I had to modify to keep it from being big enough for two beds! I had asked opinions of the QB members about framing or not framing the bear paw blocks. Overwhelming consensus to frame the blocks. This is the finished 105" square quilt.Next is a picture of the center "medallion".The longarmer did a beautiful job of using feathers and outlining in the panel to make the animals pop out. She used Hobbs 80/20. The following picture is of the framed bear paw. Stippling around the block.
Above, a close-up of the animals and flying geese in the center. The following picture is of the 4x4 blocks that were used outer corners to frame the center.

This is the camoflage backing that was used. This quilt is for my outdoor loving DS and DDIL for Christmas. I hope they like it and that you do, too. Merry Christmas to all of you and thanks for the vote. I am sure it was the right way to go.
