Everyone needs a hug when tragedy hits, whether you are young or old, rich or poor. Nothing says "hug" better than a quilt that a stranger made. Just think of wrapping that quilt around you and curling up in your favorite spot, just to reflect on life. I am currently making and helping to finish quilts for the New York victims of Hurricane Sandy. It warms my heart to know that I am doing just a LITTLE to help those in need. Sometimes the warmth of a quilt is as important as money.
