The quilt was completely finished, include machine sewn binding (deco stitch too). So that would have to be cut off if I added another border. Customer is using a regular dust ruffle, so thought a ruffle on the edges of the quilt would blend from quilt to dust ruffle and be relatively easy to add. She is a good friend of the family and want to make this right for her, even though not my fault.
