I, too have stopped pinning and have started using Elmer's school glue. I just finished Mirror, Mirror and I bet there's not one seam that doesn't match thanks to Elmers! Fantastic stuff.
Do you wait for the glue to dry before sewing? Does the glue wash out ? Never used this technique but fed up of heads coming off pins or loosing them or bending them. I think I have some dislike for pins.
