You should sew 1 & 2 together, 3 & 4, 5 & 6, and 7 & 8, then sew 1-2 & 3-4 together, then 5-6 & 7-8, then sew the two pieces one straight line. Lovely blocks, love the fabric. Try to get all points matching, stop sewing at least 1 or 2 threads before getting into the 1/4 seam. Research triangles, there is a good tute on this board, will try to find it for you.
