If it's a solid color fleece, I would just go on. No biggie. Spend the time, playing with her, that's more important anyway. She won't remember you spending time to make her quilt perfect - she will remember you doing something silly and fun with her. Build a tent in the living room, make a snack and crawl in there and have a camping adventure. That's the kind of thing that really counts.
Once when my kids were 10,11, 12 they were getting owly about something, I fixed myself a lemonade, sipped a few minutes and the pretended to be a bit tipsy - told them I was going surfing and pretended to do so on the kitchen floor. I don't drink and that's why they really took notice. They are now 44 and down. They often recall the time mom got drunk and surfed on the kitchen floor. This was special to them - my mother died in a car accident when I was 9 - I have NO memories of her - I wanted to be sure that whatever happened my kids remembered me!
