Default Quilt spacing for fleece backing

I'm back...I have 2 jelly roll stripe quilts I am trying to get done in time for Christmas. They have fleece backing with no batting. I just got done tying the 1st and am thinking it would be faster to SID. I know quilt spacing is based on the batting you use, but since I have no batting I have nothing to go on. I was thinking I would be able to do every other row (approx 4") and have it hold together or would I need to do every row? The fleece is Polartec if that makes a difference. These are my 1st quilts so I am clueless and appreciate any advice you can offer
