Here is an idea for scraps that I just saw on this board.
Several months ago, someone posted a link to "Pure Comfort Wraps". I talked w/my DSIL (she works at an assisted living facility) and we decided to make them for Christmas for some of the residents that didn't have anyone that visited them. We needed 12. So, my cousin (made 1 2/3), her daughter (made 5), my DSIL (made 3 1/3), and I (made 2)decided to do this. I quilted all 12, and my DSIL bound all of them. So here are some of our pics.
I was just about to make one of these comfort quilts for my Dad after seeing this thread posted this week. This afternoon I got word that my Dad, an Alzheimer patient, lost his battle with this disease. It brings such a mixture of feelings... Dad is released from his suffering but I miss him so much.
