Hahaha - I'm betting this was before the internet! It's amazing how much information is available here. Most of these things we assume now to be common knowledge in the quilting community would surely be things we'd never hear of without our handy computers.

I use Connecting Threads or cheapie cotton for piecing to be totally truthful. It really doesn't lint too terribly unless your quilting with it in my experience. It IS linty thread. Masterpiece by Superior Threads is supposed to be a good quality low lint thread.
