I have the Expressions 2. I love. I have had it for two years and paid $1500 for it. Don't know if that helps you any or not. I am not sure I would want to buy any machine without being able to try it out though. I love the built in walking foot. I bought my machine locally and have had very good service on it. There was only one problem, and I had had it a year and a half before that showed up. It ended up being a recalled part that was replaced by the next day.
