You're not actually receiving emails from the individual but from Pinterest itself. It automatically notifies you when someone pinned something you liked. So far it seems harmless regarding posting things. I can't see the big hullabaloo about it. My older daughter is obsessed with it. We made Christmas cookies Saturday and she made several from recipes she had found on Pinterst.
thanks for the info....I was afraid when she "signed me onto this site" I would be getting junk mail from it, but she must have did something to have these things come back to me. I will ask her today if I talk to her and in the meantime, I will delete those emails. Not really sure I want to have access to that site......
