I use QAYG for most of my quilts. I have tried the method where you add fabric to the front and back (looks like sashing when done) and also seen the one where you make the backing bigger and join the blocks with that and turn to the front (again becomes sashing). The method I use most often is one I learned using the book "6-Hour Quilt" by Kaye Wood (http://www.kayewood.com/item/6_Hour_...ew_Format/2029). This book has you start in the middle and build your way out section by section. I just do the same idea, quilting by rows....when the rows are done I add the borders the same way...for those having problems adding your borders with the strip/sashing method, maybe you can finish this way. It is hard to explain, but I can take some pictures when I start quilting my Rosie and PC quilts....hopefully next week!!
