I've used both. I didn't really notice any appreciable difference between Roxanne's and Elmer's. Roxanne's does have the nice fine tip. I used Roxanne's the first time I glued a binding. It is nice to be able to precisely place that bead of glue, however, on a large quilt it is not that efficient. I would keep the Roxanne's for applique (if you already have it) and use Elmer's for the binding and basting.
