OUCH, sorry to hear, hopefully all goes well.

I broke my arm 9 yrs ago (just shy of compound). But it did not go as planned, the 6 wks + Physical Therapy. Did not heal properly and had to have it re-broke, graft from hip bone and plate put in. Followed by more PT, then surgery again, because plate was affecting mobility. So 1 year and 1 month, the Dr said I was done. But, I am a big believer in Physical Therapy.

So, if you Dr. suggest PT do it. DH broke his wrist in high school (before PT was the norm) and he is limited because of it. As we get older our bodies, in general, start limiting us and broken bones just make things harder.
