I have a D1 and looked into the Fab mover but felt it was too expensive for me. I heard about a "slider" that you could buy. I think Leah Day advertises it. So I went online for a piece of Teflon sheeting. I found a piece about 1yd sq. I set up my quilting extension table, cut a hole in the Teflon sheeting for the needle (don't need feed dogs for fmq) and taped it to the body of my machine. My fabric slides across it like sliding on ice. Such a good item for such a small price... Works for me... imho
