Well, here are my two December blocks. I thought my 1 inch test square was 1 inch, but my block sides were only 6.25 inches, so I made them longer. Thus, my trees do not meet in the center, but I still like the block. For my 2nd block, I am using the Christmas star pattern that rbrazill sent to me when I was his swap partner. The block was a little too out of sync to send to a partner but at 49 pieces, it certainly is good enough for me to use in my quilt.

I also love how your purple combination turned out, it is really darling. I am so hoping that you will post the second color combination, when you get it together. This has been such a fun year & I hope that everyone is looking forward to the 2013 BOM project!!
