There are so many that I love and so many that I would love to try. I prefer the traditional blocks and will never have enough time in this lifetime to do all that I want to try. One that I have enjoyed making as a beginner and "advanced beginner" is the disappearing nine patch. There are so many possibilities. One that I did was done with the corner blocks "fussy cut."
