Hello from western Colorado
I have been enjoying this board for years but have never joined it. I finally did it and joined. I have learned a lot from you all and am glad to finally be a part of it. I began quilting in the year 2000 by taking some classes at Quilters Corner, as soon as it opened in our town. I still work full time as a Nurse and quilt whenever I can. Quilting is my therapy, recreation, and creative outlet. I love making things for friends and family. I had gastric bypass surgery in 2011 and have lost over 100 pounds. My health is important to me and I reached my goal weight in December 2012. Maintaining that goal weight is my current challenge and goal for the rest of my life.
