I think I might do 3 colors as well...I really like the more organized look. This will be a definite challenge for me...paper piecing is pretty new to me ( just started to learn that technique last year) and I have not attempted a y-seam. I am a bit of a perfectionist so I am preparing myself mentally for some ripping and re-sewing LOL
