cute tutes! Iinstead of cardboard for stability, I purchase sheets of corrugated plastic at our local home improvement store. I cut it to fit with kitchen shears for all kinds of projects needing firm sides or bottoms such as totes, soft sided luggage, and purse bottoms. I use them especially in items that I make for my family who lives in the humid southeast. cardboard does not hold up well where they live. I can't see why it wouldn't work for the storage baskets, too.
