As a general guideline, we don't count anything that you haven't started as a UFO, be it kit, fabric collection for a future quilt, or purchased pattern. Collecting the parts doesn't make it a UFO; starting it, then setting it aside for any amount of time to work on something else makes it a UFO. Check the rules post for the basic guidelines.
