Barganing tool yes - they probably don't even know the "C" clamp is missing so if/when you go back take info with you to show them.
In my humble opinion "Hummel" sounds good.
My 24 is a "Hummel" right now - unless I can figure out how to fix it.
Singer "Hummel's" are still pretty.
