I would put it together this way...think of making the block in 3 components. Sew the two triangles together using the light blue section as a guide and then sew them to the corner block. Then sew the opposite corner component the same way that is pink. Then I would sew the triangles to the corner blocks in the center component and sew them to the ends of the center square. Then sew the three together. JMHO
