The book is not a Schamber book. It is 186 designs from 8 simple shapes. Cant remember the author right now. But you start with loops, triangles, tulips, hearts, etc. It is for quilting in squares but I thought just learning about tension and threads etc was worth the $45 class which is 3 two hour session. The teacher is going to teach about all over quilting. She is making us doodle and draw.
