Zooks in Intercourse is great as is The Old Country Store right across from Zooks. The BEST store in the area is Burkholders. At least 10,000 bolts, patterns, books, batting, notions etc. They just had their 35% off everything in the store sale. Their normal prices are already discounted so this was a great sale.
