I love Pam Bono designs. I've made several of her designs and all have come out great! I find her instructions very well written and easy to follow. My daughter - who's not a dedicated quilter but more of a dabbler - made a PB quilt for only her second quilt and it came out lovely too.
I bet you'll do just fine too! My suggestion is to just take your time and enjoy the process.
