Joy, That's pretty darn good for your first attempt at FMQ! Feathers are not an easy thing to do!!! (And, yes, I can tell they are feathers).
I remember trying to do a heart shape and every time I got to the right hand side, somehow my brain/hands got very confused and I ended up sewing a line straight down instead of curving up for the second side of the heart. It was pretty pathetic!
Believe it or not, you are off to a GREAT start!!!
