Usually black would be used if "blanket stitching" in many cases...but if satin stitching try to get as close as you can and darker if need be
What is the difference in blanket stitching and satin stitching? They sound the same to me.
Here is a picture of some of the applique that I need to sew down. Do you think gray thread would look okay? What color would you choose?
