Eliza, I think it's okay to give a quilt not to your tastes to charity as long as it isn't something too ugly. We all like different things and some will appreciate the warmth even it isn't perfectly matching. The first quilt I made for Cystic Fibrosis was scrappy and it went for a decent price. The solids were white and purple - not my colors, but must have been someone's. BTW, I like your quilt.

I'm cutting charms down and I'm shocked at the different amounts I've had to trim off. Moda are the only consistent ones in my limited experience.
