I had insomnia last night, and instead of working on the numerous UFOs I have hanging around (or cleaning house), made a throw quilt top -- 3 hours from beginning to end. Now to decide whether to add another border in batik or just sandwich, quilt and bind as is. It is currently 44 x 66" - a decent size but looks a bit unfinished to me without a coloured border. Advice, anyone? I've decided this is a Christmas present so need to finish it by tomorrow.

This is on my bucket list---------but I will do it in primary color batiks (red, blue, yellow) for the vertical pieces and then the secondary colors (green, purple, orange) for the horizontal colors------making it look more like weaving than this quilt does.
