I can't tell you all how many of these ruffled scarves I've made and given away to friends and co-workers. I think the knitted ones take longer to make (about 3 hours) but they are more fluffier. I have found that the wooden knitting needles with the plastic tubing connecting both needles is great to keep the stitches from slipping off so I can carry my unfinished scarves around and work on them during break times. They really are fun to do and the different colors/brands keeps me from getting bored.
