Honestly, I have no idea! I just pulled from my stash for fabrics in the same general colour scheme and went from there. And the yardages somewhat varied, according to what I had at the time.
I looked at those two blogs and yes, that gives you a good run down on the how to! Sizes of course, could be changed, if you want. I've seen the same pattern done in florals ... oh so lovely!
