Well, if you have a quilt "in mind" for your sister's birthday in March, in sounds like you haven't started it . That only gives you 2 months. Lets assume you finish it by her birthday, you still have at least 2 months to the next sister's birthday, so I would suggest you make the same design only in different colors.
